Privacy notice
What we collect
- When you order: through the order form, your name, company, email addresses, country, billing address, VAT and purchase order numbers, the Adsum account the licences go to, and the order itself. We keep them on our servers and email them to our support team, to invoice you and deliver the licences. Stripe, our payment service, receives what the invoice needs; card and bank details go to Stripe and never reach us.
- If you renew: we invoice you each year; no card is kept.
- When you use a licence: each production download and the relay it was loaded on, so that licences can be counted and security releases can reach you.
- When you ask for a device or a quote: your name, company, email address and country, and what you tell us about the device, to answer you and quote.
- When you write to us, by email or the contact form: your name, email address, and what you tell us, to answer you.
- On this site: the basket stays in your own browser until you send the order. We count visits without cookies and without identifying you, and we use no advertising trackers.
Why, and on what basis
To fulfil your order and the licence (contract); to tell licence holders about security releases and vulnerabilities (legitimate interest, and our duties as a manufacturer of software with digital elements); to keep tax and accounting records (legal obligation).
Who sees it
Stripe, for invoices, payments and their fraud checks; our hosting providers, Cloudflare for this site and Railway for our servers; our email providers; our accountants, for the records. We do not sell personal data. Data is held in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, or with providers under adequate safeguards.
How long
Order and licence records for as long as the licence is held plus six years, as tax law requires. Support messages for two years.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, or object to its use, at support@adsumnetworks.com. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
