The GXE100 Series gateways offer unrivaled indoor Bluetooth IoT connectivity, providing the longest range available. These gateways have been tested to achieve over 4000 meters of BLE connectivity in open spaces with a direct line-of-sight.

 

The GXE100 Series gateway provides connectivity between the Bluetooth IoT Network and the Infrastructure and Data Management Platforms through WiFi or wired Ethernet interfaces. The gateway is equipped with an IP51 Ingress Protection enclosure and can be powered through a 5V micro-USB AC adapter or a POE Ethernet cable.

 

The GXE100 Series gateways can be deployed either in Standalone mode or in a Bluetooth Networking mode. In the latter, they can extend the coverage of your Bluetooth IoT Network across your facility. By forming a network with other GXE100 gateways and SXE100 Bluetooth scanners, they can connect tens of thousands of Bluetooth IoT beacon devices  in your facility.

 

Adsum Networks Bluetooth Networking Software

 

With Adsum Networks' Bluetooth Networking software, you can cover an indoor facility of up to 30,000m2 using only a GXE100 Gateway and 5 SXE100 Scanners. All you need is power and Internet access for the gateway; no additional wiring required. Adding another GXE100 Gateway can increase the capacity and bring high availability and resiliency to your Bluetooth IoT network.

 

GXE100 Gateways in Standalone mode can manage up to 2000 active BLE Beacon Devices. However, when configured in Bluetooth Networking mode, each gateway can connect to up to 10 SXE100 Scanners, and each scanner can handle up to 1000 active BLE Beacon Devices. With this flexible configuration, you can cost-effectively design Bluetooth IoT networks to manage anywhere from hundreds to tens of thousands of BLE beacon devices in your facility.

 

Adsum Networks Bluetooth Networking software enables automatic formation of a secure, self-healing, and auto-maintaining Bluetooth IoT networking infrastructure by the Gateways and Scanners, allowing them to connect your BLE beacon devices. Scanners encrypt your BLE device data, which is then securely handled, filtered, transported, routed, aggregated, and cached/stored by this infrastructure.

 

Adsum Networks Console

 

You get full visibility on your self driving network from the Cloud based Adsum Networks Console, where you can also control the parameters you want. 

That includes, for instance, the choice of BLE Advertisement Filters, their associated Quality of Service (QoS) Queues and Data Forwarders. 

 

Whether its is an iBeacon, Eddystone, Alt-Beacon, other BLE Advertising or a combination of those type of device, you will find in Adsum Networks Console the right filters and tools for you to easily integrate and start transmitting and managing your IoT Devices Data. 

 

In addition to the rich User Interface of Adsum Networks Console, you can also provision, monitor and control your Bluetooth networking infrastructure in a secure way using RESTful server-side APIs.

 

Adsum Networks IoT Data Management Platform

 

Your devices Data can be routed from your Gateway to the destinations you choose, but if you choose Adsum IoT Data Management platform, you will get all the necessary Edge and Cloud elements to manage, visualize and analyze your devices and their generated data, with a wide set of integration connectors that bring the processed meta-data and action triggers back to your operations digital system and applications you use.

Your IoT Devices data is securely transmitted data to the local or remote cloud server using Secure MQTT or HTTPS protocols.

 

Indoor Coverage

 

GXE100 Gateways has been tested to communicate with an SXE100 Bluetooth Scanners positioned behind more than 3x brick walls. It has also been tested to communicate with BLE Beacon devices positioned behind more than 2x brick walls. 

 

Installation

 

GXE100 Gateways can be desk, wall, ceiling, or pole mounted. 

 

Internal components

 

At the heart of GXE100 Series gateway is an ESP32M16 module with an ESP32 D0WD SoC. It has an Xtensa dual core 32 bit LX6 microprocessors, up to 600 MIPS. A Microchip LAN8720 is the Ethernet PHY interface. 

The ESP32 communicates with a BLE 5 module based on nRF52840 SoC equipped with an ARM Cortex M4F, 64 MHz and an ARM® TrustZone® Cryptocell-310 co-processor.

The nRF52840 module is equipped with a SKY66112 configurable power amplifier used to amplify the BLE signal (within Regulations limits) to achieve -with the right antennas- the longest BLE range possible.
